Club Events

Weekly Time Trials: Every Thursday from the 8th May until the 24th July 2008, Water Swallows Road, a shade under 10 miles, 7pm start. Sign on the line.

Monyash Time Trial: Thursday 31st July 2008, Monyash, 8 Miles, 7pm start. Sign on the line.

Hill Climb Championship:

Long Hill, 7th August 2008. 4.5 miles. 7pm start.

Peaslows, 14th August 2008. 1 miles. 7pm start. It will be to the top!!!!

Briargrove Road, Thornsett, 21st August 2008. 0.6m miles. 7pm start.

Christmas Pud: 7th December 2008, Longdale Circuit, 9 miles(ish), 10:30am start. Sign on the line, mince pie for all!!!

Open Events

Buxton Mountain Time Trial: 21st March 2008, Longnor, 33 Miles, 11am Start. Pre entries required 2 weeks in advance (minimum). Too late too enter now, but come and support the riders or to marshall.

Bole Hill Road race: 8th June 2008, HQ: Dove Holes, 10am start. Entries to the CDNW, see the website for details.

Long Hill Hill Climb: 21st Semptember 2008, 4.5 miles. Pre entries required 2 weeks in advance (minimum).

Time Trial Championships

10 mile: Tuesday 10th June 2008, Promoted by Matlock CC. Event sec.  R. Thoday, 8 Lime Grove Walk, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3FD.   Fee £6.50

25 mile: 16th August 2008, Promoted by Seamons CC.  Event Sec.  I. Udall, 11 Neston Ave, Withington, Manchester, M20 3FJ.   Fee £7.00

50 mile: 26th July 2008, promoted by Warrington RC. Event sec.  D. Webster 7 Cross Lane South, Risley, Warrington, Cheshire, WA3 7AF.  Fee £7.00

Notes:

(1) Your best six times in the series of 10 Club Events ( 10 May - 26 July ) on JC 14  will count             towards the Len Eyre Trophy.

(2) The Best All Rounder Competition will be calculated from times recorded in open events at  10  25  &  50  on “J” courses and 100 miles on any course. The 10 mile at Matlock on 13th June is also a counting event.  Veterans BAR calculated from average speed against standard.

(3) The Road Race Trophy will be awarded for the best five placings during the season; (Juvenile, Junior, Senior, Veteran, or Lady Rider )
